Jacob Amey

Jacob Amey is originally from Portland, Oregon and started his dance journey at the age of 12 when he attended the Arts and Communications Magnet Academy (ACMA). At ACMA, he explored various forms of art, but it wasn’t until he tried dance that he found his passion and went on to train at the pre-professional program, Dance West. Jacob then performed with The Portland Ballet and spent his summers training with San Francisco Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet. After high school, Jacob attended the University of Arizona, where he grew in his technical training and artistry and performed numerous pieces from faculty and renowned choreographers such as George Balanchine and Paul Taylor. In 2023, Jacob graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Dance.
Azelle Chang

Azelle Chang was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and grew up primarily in Portland, Oregon. She began dancing at The Portland Ballet where she trained in various techniques of ballet before continuing with her performing arts high school’s pre-professional company, Dance West. Diversifying her dance training beyond ballet, Azelle performed exciting works from contemporary pas de deuxs and jazzy group numbers, to Broadway musicals like Cats and A Chorus Line. After high school, Azelle attended the University of Arizona’s triple-track dance program where she had the privilege to perform works by esteemed faculty and renowned guest artists, as well as various masterworks such as George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, Frank Chaves’ Habaneras, The Music of Cuba, and Gerald Arpino’s Light Rain. Earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Spring 2023, Azelle was also involved in the program’s student leadership club, Dance Collective. Growing up in arts-focused communities her whole life, Azelle is passionate about anything arts-related and loves to draw, paint, and craft in her free time.
Cameron Cofrancesco

Cameron Cofrancesco is originally from West Chester, PA and began his dance training at The Rock School West for Dance Education. In 2022, he graduated from the University of Southern California. There, Cameron developed his own BFA concentration for Dance & Film under the Glorya Kaufman School of Dance and the School of Cinematic Arts. He learned from a vast range of choreographers and commercial artists including William Forsythe, Aszure Barton, Tessandra Chavez, Justin Peck, Jodie Gates, Jermaine Spivey, Hope Boykin, and Bret Easterling. Professionally, Cameron has danced with Zeitgeist Dance Theater as an inaugural company member (2020-2021) and with Ballet Memphis as a company artist and teacher for their youth education program (2022-2023). His dance-film work includes producing an advertisement for Bose Earbuds featuring Lennon Torres, and he has created social media videos for Continuum Community and Ballet Memphis. Additionally, Cameron served as assistant director for a short film “‘em.bod.y” by Jainil Mehta and works as a production assistant and board member for the prestigious Los Angeles dance-film festival, Dance Camera West.
RACHAEL DEAN

Rachael Dean started dancing at High Point Ballet under Gary Taylor. She grew up dancing in many styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, and tap, and quickly found her calling through dance. After graduating from her home studio, she attended The Hartt School at the University of Hartford starting in 2019, where she furthered her training in ballet, contemporary, and modern techniques including Graham, Limon, and Cunningham. While at the university, she performed works such as Giselle, Cunningham repertoire and original works by Chanel DeSilva. During her time at the Hartt School, Rachael trained with Stephen Pier, Hilda Morales, Miki Orihara, Nina Watt, and Andrea Weber. After attending Nashville Ballet’s 2021 summer intensive, she was offered a contract with Nashville Ballet’s second company, NB2. Since starting her professional career, Rachael has had opportunities to dance in Nashville Ballet’s main company performances of The Nutcracker and George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments. With NB2, Rachael has performed works by Charlotte Boye-Christensen, Maria Konrad, Mollie Sansone, Anneliese Guerin, Travis Bradley, and Nick Mulikin. She has also had the opportunity to choreograph on Nashville Ballet’s school and volunteer for an adaptive dance program - helping share the joy of dance with kids that have health conditions and impairments.
Patricio Di Stabile

From Buenos Aires Argentina, Patricio Di Stabile graduated from The School of Teatro Colon. Patricio was a student at Ballet Academy East in NYC under the direction of Darla Hoover with a full scholarship; also, in NYC, his mentor and coach was the world-renowned Maestro William Burmann at Steps on Broadway. He participated in the Moscow International Ballet Competition at the Bolshoi Theater and danced with Ballet Estable de Tucumán, Compania danza Argentina. Patricio moved to the US in 2021, danced with Dimensions Dance Theater of Miami and Canyon Concert Ballet, and guested nationally with San Jose Dance Theater, Sierra Nevada Ballet, and Terpsiorps Theatre of Dance. As a choreographer and director, he produced “Aislamiento Social,” a documentary about the pandemic, with Argentinian dancers from around the world, and the film premiered in Latin America with AllegroHd Channel. He is also passionate about singing and music composition.
Jocelyn Green

Born and raised as the youngest of four girls in St. Louis, Missouri, Jocelyn studied dance under Andrea Patzius and Donna Patzius-Hill for 13 years. She attended SUNY Purchase College, Conservatory of Dance for three years before joining the second company of Nashville Ballet. She later completed her degree online through The New School in New York. In 2014 she joined the Dayton Ballet where she had the pleasure to dance many lead roles, her favorites being as Juliet in Septime Webre’s Romeo and Juliet and as Myrtle in Ron Cunningham’s The Great Gatsby. Other highlights included performing contemporary works by Jiri Kylian, Gina Patterson, Jessica Lang, and Amy Seiwert. In the summer of 2018 she was one of 16 dancers chosen from across the country to attend the National Choreographer’s Initiative in Irvine, California. Since joining Wonderbound, Jocelyn has been featured in Garrett Ammon’s Wicked Bayou, The Troublemakers, and The Garden, among others. She is also the founder of Dayton Dance Initiative, a choreographic collaborative that employs dancers during the summer months in Dayton, Ohio. When not dancing, Jocelyn can be found biking, hiking, and exploring the mountains with her husband.
Danielle Lieberman

Born and raised in Santa Clarita, California, Danielle Lieberman began her dance training at the age of four with the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy. At age 13, she joined the SCB Company where she studied RAD and completed her Advanced 2 certificate with Distinction. Since then, Danielle has graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in ballet, studying under Susan Jaffe and Jared Redick and was a professional trainee with Charlotte Ballet under direction of Hope Muir, Patricia McBride, and Laszlo Berdo. She then went on to work with Daet Rodriguez and Margit Peguero for two seasons as a company member with The Georgia Ballet. Her performance highlights include the Snow Queen in Ethan Stiefel’s The Nutcracker, Lise in La Fille Mal Gardee, Aszure Barton’s Happy Little Things, and George Balanchine’s Donizetti Variations. She has spent summers training at the Bolshoi Ballet and Juilliard School intensives, and in 2019 was invited to perform at YAGP’s International Dance School Festival as part of Ilya Kozadayev’s Dream(s)pace cast.
Nathan Mariano

Nathan Mariano, originally from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, began his dance training at the Reif Dance program in his hometown at the age of fourteen. Nathan went on to attend the University of Arizona’s School of Dance where, in 2022, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, graduating summa cum laude. At UA, Nathan received both the Triple Threat Award (’22) and the Knosp Musicality Award (’19). During his time at the School of Dance, he had the privilege to perform masterworks by choreographers such as George Balanchine, Paul Taylor, and Larry Kegwin. Throughout his training, Nathan has been able to attend summer intensives at Minnesota Dance Theater and Perry Mandsfield. Nathan has also been a reoccurring guest artist with James Sewell Ballet since 2017. Outside of dance, Nathan loves to spend his time cooking and playing guitar.
Aidan O’Leary

Aidan O’Leary is delighted to be joining Wonderbound for his second season with the company. Born in Oak Park, IL, O’Leary trained at the Chicago Academy for the Arts under the direction of Randy Duncan, where he was exposed to the wonders of dance. He moved out to San Francisco, CA to continue his training at the Alonzo King Lines Ballet BFA program, where he worked with and performed in works by faculty members like Alonzo King, Gregory Dawson, Maurya Kerr, and Alice Klock. Since graduating, he has worked with a number of groups in the Bay Area, including Oakland Ballet, Robert Moses’ Kin, and Craft Dance Project. For Aidan, dance is a pathway to self-discovery, and an opportunity to engage deeply with the people and world around him. In this, as in everything, he hopes to lead with joy, tenacity, and love.
Richard Romero

Originally from Vineland, New Jersey, Richy began his dance training at the age of 13 with the Vineland Regional Dance Company. From there he joined First State Ballet Theatre where he performed in many classical ballets. During his six seasons there, Richy performed roles such as Mercutio in Viktor Plotnikov’s Romeo and Juliet, Rothbart in Swan Lake, and Count Albrecht in Giselle. Richy also had the privilege of dancing several contemporary works such as Dusk by Zachary Kapeluck, and Terpsichore by Viktor Plotnikov amongst others. With Wonderbound, Richy has been featured in leading roles in Garrett Ammon’s The Sandman: A Newfangled Western and Wicked Bayou.
Morgan Sicklick

Morgan Sicklick, originally from Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, received her training at the Irine Fokine School of Ballet under the direction of Irine Fokine and Jeanette Hoffman. In 2013, Morgan graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Marketing from Butler University. While at Butler, she had the privilege of dancing Myrtha in Giselle, The Mistress in Paul Taylor’s Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rehearsal), and Nacho Duato’s Por Vos Muero. In August 2013, Morgan became an inaugural member of Kansas City Ballet’s (KCB) Second Company. Her repertoire with KCB includes works by Michael Pink, Victoria Morgan, Septime Webre, George Balanchine, Todd Bolender, Devon Carney, and Anthony Krutzkamp. In addition to KCB, Morgan has performed with Moving Arts in Kansas City, MO and at the 2017 Vail International Dance Festival with Wonderbound. Since joining Wonderbound, Morgan has been featured in Garrett Ammon’s Love of my Life, Winter, Ice, Celestial Navigation, Serenade for Strings, Wicked Bayou, The Crossroads Motel, Oh Me, Oh My!, and Brrr!esque. She also has a love for choreography and created works for Wonderbound’s Wonderlab in 2018 and 2019.
Logan Velasquez

Born in the suburbs of Chicago, Logan's love for dance started at age two. Her pre-professional career began at The Faubourg School of Ballet and Ballet Chicago. During Ballet West's tour to Chicago, she performed as Little Red Riding Hood in their production of Sleeping Beauty. Throughout her teenage years, she attended summer intensives at The School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, Charlotte Ballet, and Next Generation Ballet, where she was offered a full scholarship to attend their year round program. Under the direction of Philip Neal, Logan performed in YAGP's Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow gala. In 2018, Logan was invited to perform an original piece by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa in Jacob's Pillow Summer Dance Festival. She then spent two years as a trainee at Charlotte Ballet, under the guidance of Patricia McBride, working with choreographers such as Dwight Rhoden, Stephanie Martinez, Peter Chu, and Mark Diamond. Transitioning into her professional career, Logan was most recently a part of Grand Rapids Ballet and Alabama Ballet. Some of her highlights with both companies would include Wild Sweet Love by Trey McIntyre, Imitations by Garrett Smith, and the role of lead Marzipan in George Balanchine's Nutcracker. When back home in Illinois, she can be found reconnecting with long time mentors Peff Modelski and Alexei Kremnev.
David McGovern

David McGovern, born and raised in the greater Boulder area, competed in gymnastics for nine years prior to dancing. He began his formal training at age 19 at Boulder Ballet under guidance of Lance Hardin and Ana Claire. The following year he moved to Colorado Ballet Academy to transition toward a professional path, performing works by choreographers such as Maria Konrad and Sandra Brown, as well as working with a vast array of teachers including Domenico Luciano, Erica Fischbach, Mayo Sugano, and Roberto Munoz. In May of 2022, he was selected to perform a leading role in the Academy’s production of Coppélia.
